Golden Valley, MN, April 26, 2022 – The League of Railway Women (LRW) Board of Directors recently appointed Janet Hoang as Parliamentarian. Janet is a Sustainability Coordinator with CP, an LRW Platinum Corporate Partner. The term of this role is for the 2022-2023 board period.

“We are proud to welcome Janet back to the LRW Board of Directors,” said Amanda Trainor Patrick, LRW President. “Janet was previously LRW Events Chair and directed the successful delivery of our 2019 annual conference, which was held during Railway Interchange. Her dedication, creativity and passion for the rail industry is admired by all who know her.”

Since joining CP in 2015, Janet has worked in various departments, including finance and risk management and is currently a top collaborator on the corporate sustainability team.

Janet was raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where she studied business. She has completed and continues to maintain her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Janet enjoys CrossFit and spending time with her daughter and twin boys.

“Janet assumes the parliamentarian role from Madeline Stern, who has taken a new opportunity outside of the rail industry,” said Erica Sander, LRW Secretary. “We are so grateful for Madeline's dedicated contributions to LRW for so many years and wish her remarkable success in her new endeavors.”
