LRIW Annual Conference at RSI/CMA 2014 in Montreal

Washington, DC, January 14, 2014 – The League of Railway Industry Women (LRIW) has announced they will join the Railway Supply Institute (RSI) and the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA) at RSI/CMA 2014. LRIW plans to host its 2014 Annual Conference during this important rail industry event.

Washington, DC, January 14, 2014 – The League of Railway Industry Women (LRIW) has announced they will join the Railway Supply Institute (RSI) and the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA) at RSI/CMA 2014. LRIW plans to host its 2014 Annual Conference during this important rail industry event.

RSI/CMA 2014 will be held on September 21-23 in Montréal, Quebec at the Palais des congrés de Montréal (Montréal Convention Center). RSI and the CMA will be joined by the Railway Association of Canada and the Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers. RSI's exhibits will be held in conjunction with CMA and RAC technical and educational sessions. Combined expected attendance is 1,500.

“LRIW is glad  to be a part of this important industry event and will hold educational meetings and networking opportunities, as well as, tours of rail facilities located in Montreal. This is our second year as a part of the CMA and we are very excited to be able to reach out to Canadian women in the rail industry,” said Susan Roberson, LRIW President.

“As a North American trade association representing the railway supply industry, we are delighted to be holding our 2014 exhibition in Canada, which is both home to and an important market for many of our members,” said RSI President Tom Simpson. “RSI will work with the Railway Association of Canada and the Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers to make this show a success,” he said.
