LRW Appoints Anne Schlegel to Board of Directors; Promotes Erica Sander to Board Secretary

Washington, DC, June 4, 2020 – The League of Railway Women (LRW) has appointed Anne Schlegel, JD, Senior Contracts Manager, Holland, L.P., to the membership chair position and promoted Erica Sander, Manager, Government Relations, Trinity Rail, to board secretary. Holland, L.P. and Trinity Rail are LRW Silver Corporate Partners.

As membership chair, Anne, will be responsible for leading the individual and corporate partnership programs. 

As board secretary and member of the LRW executive committee, Erica will oversee all board meetings, correspondence and records. 

“We are very excited to welcome Anne and Erica into their new roles,” said LRW President Amanda Trainor Patrick. “Connecting and cultivating women in rail is our commitment to our membership and industry. We are inspired by the vision and experience these two industry leaders will share with our board and we look forward to their contributions to the organization.” 

Erica replaces long-time LRW supporter, honorary member, and past president (2011-2015), Susan Robertson of Virginia Rail Solutions, who retired from the board at the end of May. 

“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Susan Robertson for her unwavering support and dedication to the LRW,” said LRW Vice President Sarah Grimmer Yurasko. “As one of our longest-serving board members, Susan's leadership and contributions have greatly influenced the evolution and growth of our organization, as well as providing a historical perspective for planning and decision making. Thank you so much Susan, and we wish you the very best in your retirement!”
