Washington, DC, October 5, 2020 – The League of Railway Women (LRW) welcomes two new board members: events chair Patricia Basuel, User Experience Manager, Wi-Tronix LLC, and director-at-large Erika Bruhnke, Vice President Training, RailPros.

Patricia, who has a strong background in branding, marketing and design, will be leading the five-day LRW virtual annual conference planned for October 19 to 23. She assumes the position from Janet Hoang of CP.

Erika, a leader in rail training and media services, will be overseeing the development of the LRW mentorship program.

“As our organization continues to transform, having a diverse board that represents and engages the interests of our membership is a priority,” said LRW President Amanda Trainor Patrick. “We are so grateful to Patricia, Erika and Janet for their enthusiasm, knowledge and focus in helping fulfill our purpose of connecting and cultivating women in rail.”

Patrick continued, “I also want to acknowledge the challenges brought forth by this extraordinary and difficult year. We want our members to know that the programming we have shared since the beginning of the pandemic, and will provide going forward, underscores the resources LRW provides to help members navigate these unprecedented times.”
