LRW Members: Submit Your Nomination for the 2021 ‘Member of the Year’!

Washington, DC, September 9, 2021 – The League of Railway Women (LRW) is now accepting nominations for the LRW Member of the Year award until September 24, 2021.
Washington, DC, September 9, 2021 – The League of Railway Women (LRW) is now accepting nominations for the LRW Member of the Year award until September 24, 2021.

This award has acknowledged a diverse panel of members, all of whom have contributed to building the LRW through their support and dedication to the LRW mission of connecting and cultivating women in rail.

“Our great and varied membership is what really makes the LRW an industry leader,” said Amanda Trainor Patrick, LRW President. "As a not-for-profit organization, a lot of our contributors go way beyond the call of duty in supporting our organization and this award helps us acknowledge their excellence with the rail industry."

Nomination criteria and the online nomination form are available on the LRW website, www.railwaywomen.org/member-of-the-year. The winner will be announced this fall.

Past award winners include: Wi-Tronix LLC's Patricia Basuel (2020), The Greenbrier Companies' Mallory Moran (2019), Metrolinx's Emilia Marceta (2018), GE Transportation's Kathee Fisk (2017), L.B. Foster Rail Technologies Corp.'s Claire Tomlinson (2016), and Independent Media Consultant Carol Steckbeck (2015).
