Hall of Fame

The League of Railway Women (LRW) Hall of Fame is a special award that honors a woman who has been a dedicated contributor and advocate for the League of Railway Women, in addition to having a lasting impression on the rail industry though her tenure and leadership. In 2018, the league named its inaugural 'Hall of Fame' inductee, Kathy Keeney.

The LRW inducted Kathy Keeney, Vice President of Member Engagement & Sales, American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA), as the first member of its Hall of Fame at the General Session of the 2018 ASLRRA Connections conference in Nashville, TN on April 9. 

Kathy, a seasoned transportation executive with expertise in publishing, sales, marketing and finance, joined ASLRRA in 2015. Prior to that, she was Rail Publisher for the JOC Group, Inc., UBM Global Trade and Commonwealth Business Media, and served as an executive and writer for other rail industry trade publications. She has been deeply involved with LRW since joining in 1998, a year after the organization was founded.
