Monthly Virtual Member Meetup Series

League of Railway Women is excited to launch its first virtual monthly member meetup series!

Starting January through May 2026, join us once a month for an evening of connection, networking, and shared learning.
Our lineup of informal yet purposeful sessions is ready, and we can’t wait to bring members together in a dynamic online space.

1. 2026 Rail Trends with League of Railway Women
   Date and time: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 7:30pm EST
   Duration: 1 hour
   Description: Join us for our first virtual member meet-up. We’re kicking off the new year looking at industry trends. We’ll hear from a guest speaker and breakout into smaller groups to discuss, learn and network. Ahead of the session, we’ll share some industry insights for you to read at your leisure.
    
2. 2026 Career Goals: What track are you on?
   Date and time: Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 7:30pm EST
   Duration: 1 hour
   Description: Share your goals and tell us what you need. We’ll meet up to look at the current demographics of women in rail and on the momentum of our 2025 symposium workshop, we’ll tell our stories and share our career intentions for the year. Are you planning a move? Are you looking for a challenge? Maybe you’re in a new role and this year will be about excelling on a new mandate. Let’s share our stories and leverage our own community for inspiration, feedback and support.
    
3. Member Mash-up
   Date and time: Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:30 EST
   Duration: 1 hour
   Description: Make a friend and promote them! Two weeks ahead of the session, we’ll pair you with another member and you’ll arrange a date and time to meet virtually or in-person to share your stories ahead of the session. At the session, you’ll introduce each other to the wider group at our first-ever Member Mash-up. Your networking and self-promotion skills will be tested.
    
4. “Have you heard?”
   Date and time: Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 7:30pm EST
   Duration: 1 hour
   Description: Bring some industry news to share and let’s discuss. Let’s do a SWOT analysis and see what opportunities are in it for you.
    
5. Pit Stop
   Date and time: Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 7:30pm EST
   Description: We’re approaching the halfway point in 2026 - what do you need? Let’s take a pulse on our 2026 career goals and support each other for the next steps. We’ll kick off the session with a guest speaker sharing their career journey for inspiration and motivation.
