2024 Scholarship RecipientAnna Skidmore - Tulane Law School
Anna Skidmore was awarded the $5,000 Sue Black Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by The Greenbrier Companies. Anna is enrolled at Tulane Law School. This scholarship honors the memory of long-time Greenbrier employee, Sue Black, and is awarded to a person pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in the rail industry and is in financial need.
"I have grown up around the railroad my entire life. I have been fascinated by everything about the railroad, from the railcards to the system's logistics. The importance of the railway system in our history is phenomenal and has shaped all of our transportation systems today. This is why I am so honored to receive an award that will hopefully enable me to continue advancing the railway system!"
